Evenings at ZOI are designed as experiences rather than just meals. Each menu traces a different path through the Mediterranean—some longer, some lighter—but allframed by 1,700-year-old palace walls on one side and Split's harbor on the other"

All experiences are served at dinner; menus and prices change seasonally.

7-course tasting menu

ECHO -- Tasting Menu
  7 courses | EUR 125 | Wine pairing EUR 75

A contemporary Mediterranean tasting journey — seafood-led, with Dalmatian meat and seasonal produce

Current menu: Crudo & Sea Urchin   with Osetra caviar, house cured Tomato with stracciatella, Blue Lobster agnolotti with sauce coraline, ikejime Seabass  
  with plankton risotto and Dalmatian coastal herbs, confit Slavonian suckling Pork with mole sauce.

Duration: 2-3 hours.

A generous, immersive tasting menu that echoes the banquets and celebrations once held within the palace walls, reimagined through contemporary Mediterranean cooking.

ECHO moves from delicate opening bites to deeper, more concentrated flavors, layering seafood, meat and vegetables in a sequence that feels both precise and relaxed. Each course is composed to speak of this place—the Adriatic, the markets, the palace stone—without slipping into nostalgia. The result is an evening that feels ceremonial without ever becoming formal.

TERRA
7-course vegetarian menu

TERRA -- Vegetarian Tasting Menu
  7 courses | EUR 105 | Wine pairing EUR 75

  An entirely vegetarian celebration of Croatian terroir and seasonal produce.

Current menu: salt-baked Beet with rose infusion, Egg with black truffle and Pag cheese, Sea Risotto with plankton and Grk wine, roasted pumpkin Agnolotti with 
  Castelmagno and smoked pear.

Duration: 2-3 hours.

A plant-forward tasting menu that treats vegetables, grains and herbs with the same care usually reserved for rare cuts and seafood.

TERRA is rooted in the landscapes that surround Split: coastal gardens, mountain fields, olive groves, vineyards. The menu moves quietly and confidently through textures and temperatures—smoked, charred, raw, slow-roasted—showing how satisfying a fully vegetarian fine-dining experience can be. It is designed not only for vegetarians, but for anyone curious to see the Mediterranean told through a different lens.

For a more flexible evening, the Three-course and After Hours experiences offer room to improvise while still giving a clear taste of ZOI's kitchen and cellar.

A la Carte
Experience

A concise, three or four-course route into the kitchen's philosophy, built from à la carte dishes.

The  A la Carte Experience is created for guests who prefer a slightly shorter evening while still enjoying the structure and pacing of a fine-dining menu.

 

You choose from a curated selection of starters, intermezzo and mains guided by the team if you wish, with the option to add a dessert at the end of your dinner. It is an ideal choice for business dinners, early seatings or those planning a long Split night after dinner.

A La Carte
  3 courses | EUR 95 | Desserts EUR 10

  Choose from starters (Crudo, Tomato, Tartare with foie gras and black truffle), intermezzos (Agnolotti, Blue Lobster),  and mains (ikejime Seabass, Beef tenderloin with Lika potatoes).

After Hours
Experience

When you want to stop time, this is the place to be.

ZOI After Hours is a late evening wine flight experience, served on the terrace along the walls of Diocletian’s Palace.

As you take a seat, with the ancient wall on one side, a view of the harbour on the other, and a glass of curated wine in your hand, the layers of Split unfold — its history and its present, as the wines are poured and enjoyed

Choosing your experience

Not sure which path is right for you? For special occasions, honeymoons or once-in-a-lifetime visits to Split, the team generally recommends the full ECHO or TERRA journey. For a more flexible evening, the A la Carte and Late Night experiences offer room to improvise while still giving a clear taste of ZOI's kitchen and cellar.

For groups of more than 12 guests or private use of part of the space, please contact us by email and the team will propose a tailor-made menu.
